Instrumental Music Director

Mr. Miller has possesed a passion for drums and percussion for most of his life. Brandon Miller grew up in Chino HIlls and became a member of the prestigious Ayala High School Drumline as well as drummer for Jazz Band. After graduating High School, he enrolled at Fullerton College as a Music Major and received his Bachelor of Music degree in Percussion Performance at Chapman University. Completed his Master of Music degree, with a focus in Jazz studies at CSU Fullerton graduate program and became a credentialed teacher in 2013.

Mr. Miller worked as a freelance percussionist and educator, teaching percussion and Jazz at several Southern California schools including Marina High School, Edison High School and Laguna Hills High School. He was previously the Music Director at Cajon High School in San Bernardino, California and in July 2015, Mr. Miller became the Instrumental Music Director at El Toro High School, As director, he is responsible for the Marching Band, Drumline, String and Chamber Orchestra, Wind Ensemble, Jazz Band and Winter Guard.

Throughout his career, Mr. Miller has had the opportunity to perform in a vast array of ensembles including symphony orchestra, concert band, wind ensemble, chamber orchestra, jazz big band, new music ensembles, chamber groups, percussion and jazz combos and has had the privilege to share the stage with luminary artists.
